MENTORING FOR LEADERSHIP

This page will aim to inspire individual members to become a knowledgeable mentor to others within their Auxiliary meetings. A mentor will sit with, and discuss what is happening during the business meeting. The mentor will explain our procedures and programs to new members and to those that have not been active for a while. These actions will firmly set the foundation for a highly successful Auxiliary business meeting. When all members understand with open communication, they themselves will be more willing to get involved. With a positive attitude, a mentor will teach the basics of our organization. If executed in a positive way, it will not only encourage participation, but also afford many more members the ability to feel confident. Thus, those same members will feel more willing to step up into the leadership roles when the next election time comes around.
